PRP Therapy
What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy?
Blood platelets release a large amount of proteins containing growth factors to restore and heal the skin. With this treatment, a small extraction of blood is taken from the patient and spun in a centrifuge to separate platelets from other blood components. The platelet rich plasma is then injected into the areas of concern to stimulate the re-building of underlying tissue and the growth of new collagen.
Not only does PRP treat volume loss in the face, hands, and neck, but is also highly effective for addressing wrinkles, marks, scars, and stretch marks. The skin is newer, brighter, smoother, and lifted.
PRP can also be used to treat certain cases of hair loss and in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments for improved results and faster recovery time.
